Write For Ukraine - An Advocacy Project Supporting Ukraine

 

WRITE  FOR  UKRAINE

We all have a voice. A powerful, extraordinary tool for making a difference and helping others. 

The people of Ukraine need our help. They need us to pray, to donate, to lobby, to advocate. To use our voices in solidarity with theirs as they fight for their freedom and survival.

To all my fellow writers - authors, poets, screenwriters, songwriters, and everyone who would like to lend their voices to this through the written word - we can all write, speak, and advocate for Ukraine and in solidarity with her people.

Write something yourself - a poem, a short story, a letter-to-the editor, an opinion column, an article, an essay, a song. Share it on your blogs, websites, social media, local newspapers, etc. There are so many platforms and opportunities to write, share, post, and advocate. 

Additionally, post and share stories by journalists on the ground in Ukraine, and charities on the ground aiding refugees, as well as stories and blog posts from Ukrainians who are bravely sharing their experiences.

Amplify their voices. Contribute yours. Together our voices - through our writing - will form a global collective and platform of unity and solidarity with the people of Ukraine as we seek to be advocates and facilitators of aid and support during this horrific time.

In his recorded address to the Grammy Awards, President Zelensky pleaded with everyone around the world to tell Ukraine's story. Let's join together, as a global community of writers, and do just that.

Together, let's Write for Ukraine.
